Coworking space provider WeWork continues to build on its North Texas footprint, announcing this week that its location in Victory Park will occupy two full floors of one of the signature Victory Plaza office towers near American Airlines Center early next year.
WeWork 3090 Olive Street joins five other North Texas locations for the company — Thanksgiving Tower in downtown Dallas, Uptown Dallas, 7300 Dallas Parkway, Clearfork in Fort Worth, and Legacy West in Plano.

Located within the $3 billion, 75-acre mixed-use development in the Uptown submarket, WeWork 3090 Olive Street will open in early 2019. Victory Plaza includes two Class A, five-story office buildings — 3030 Olive St. and 3090 Olive St. — totalling 185,000 square feet overlooking the AT&T Plaza next to American Airlines Center.
The New York City-based company said the space at 3090 Olive St. will feature its signature mid-century modern decor, an open floor plan, floor-to-ceiling glass and steel framing, private office suites, and communal working space.
“When people think of Texas they think of open skies and open ranges, now they are beginning to think about a booming and increasingly diverse economy,” WeWork Texas General Manager Nathan Lenahan said in a release. “The combination of legacy companies and the newer wave of startups make Victory Park the perfect location for us.”
VICTORY PLAZA IS PART OF AREA UNDERGOING REDEVELOPMENT
Besides WeWork tenants of the Victory Plaza office buildings include TM Advertising, Cumulus Media Inc., Carson Private Capital, Mediocre, Metro Tickets, and the Victory Park Studios of ABC affiliate WFAA-Channel 8.
It will have space to acommodate hundreds of new members ranging from entrepreneurs, freelancers and startups, to artists, small businesses, and even divisions of large corporations, WeWork said in the release.
Members at WeWork 3090 Olive Street will not only have access to that building, but they will be able to work from any of the more than 290 WeWork locations worldwide, and will able to connect to more the global network of more than 280,000 members.

Victory Park is undergoing a redevelopment led by retail partner Trademark Property Co. of Fort Worth, and owner UST XVI Victory Park, a German real estate investment fund managed by Estein USA.
South Victory Park is undergoing a full remerchandising, adding 85,000 square feet of new retail space, and adding enhancements to make it a more energetic, walkable urban neighborhood.
Mexico-based movie theater company Cinépolis just opened its Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas-Victory Park location, and the area is opening more than 10 food and beverage concepts as well as showcasing new public art.
