Dallas shared office firm Common Desk heads downtown to Trammell Crow Center | Real Estate

“We think the Common Desk offering will significantly broaden the appeal of Trammell Crow Center,” Dale Todd with Trammell Crow Center owner J.P. Morgan Asset Management said in a statement. “There is a clear trend of increasing demand for coworking spaces by a wide range of traditional class A office users, including law firms and Fortune 500 companies.”

Common Desk new facility will include luxury suites, collaborative work areas, a private lounge and club and is scheduled to open early next year.

This will be the fifth location for the 6-year-old Dallas shared office firm.

“We’re excited to expand our brand into what we believe to be the best downtown Dallas trophy class A office building,” Common Desk founder Nick Clark said. “For the past 12 months we’ve been working on new elevated experiences within our spaces.

We want our customers to get a level of service that is on par with luxury high-end boutique hotels.”

Common Desk  now has locations in Dallas, Fort Worth and Plano.

Trammell Crow Center is in the midst of a major renovation that includes all new ground floor lobby and retail spaces. Plus there’s a new retail and parking garage for the tower being built across the streets.

Common Desk will work with building leasing firm Stream Realty Partners to manage and lease its new downtown Dallas location.

The Dallas-based shared office company joins a growing list of firms that offer downtown area coworking space, including WeWork, Industrious and Serendipity Labs.
