Coworking Community and Marketing Assistant


3411 Coworking is friendly, fun, and professional coworking space in downtown Chamblee, Ga. We’re looking for a Community Assistant who would be interested in coming in Monday – Friday in the afternoons to help with marketing, connecting and taking care of coworking members, and maintaining the space to make sure it’s running smoothly. This person should be able to multi-task, loves getting to know people, and would benefit from being around other entrepreneurs. Our perfect candidate has some marketing experience, is freelancing himself/herself, is comfortable with social media and customer service, and is looking for extra hours in an entrepreneurial environment. This person would also be able to work in the space for free when not working as Community Assistant.
We’re continuously learning from our members, coming up with new ideas, and testing out new activities to build our coworking community.
Must be able to work the following schedule at the space:
Mon: 1PM – 5PM
Tues: 11:30AM – 5PM
Wed: 1PM – 5PM
Thurs: 1PM – 5PM
Fri: 2PM – 5PM

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Lead marketing activities:
• Interact with potential members by giving them tours of the space, explain our membership levels, able to answer questions that pop up
• Create content and messages and share via social media channels and website (no web development experience necessary)
• Research and implement additional local marketing tactics to help engage and education the community

Manage day to day operations:
• Get to know each member and help foster a community by helping them meet other members if they are new or just answering questions about the space
• Help with hosting regular events for members (2-3 times a month – including happy hours, special celebrations, lunch and learns, guest speakers, etc)
• Bring our ‘hospitality mindset’ to life – make coffee, light cleaning as needed in between weekly cleanings, make sure common areas and meeting rooms are always clean and organized (we have a cleaning staff that will clean the space multiple times a week but want the rooms to look in order when not in use)
• Respond to and resolve member issues with professionalism and patience
• Manage mail and distribute to members on an as needed basis

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Office, and Powerpoint)
• Proficiency in basic website maintenance and social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, You Tube, Instagram (plus if you know Hootesuite)
• Familiarity with marketing tactics including search engine marketing and email marketing
• Self-starter who has the ability to work independently and is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
• Require College Degree – Preferred Degrees: Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Education
• Prefer 1-2 Years of Professional Experience, preferably with some customer facing experience
