DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) — River City Coworking was created to give entrepreneurs a place where they can work collaboratively in Downtown Danville.
The new office space gives small business owners a temporary place to work without the burden of a long lease. All utilities, including wifi, are included in a flat rate.
Entrepreneurs can choose from a seat in the common area, a personal desk, or a full office. This setup allows them to work near other small business owners and network.
Owners say this type of space is beneficial for entrepreneurs.
“Coworking is all about small businesses helping other small businesses,” said Lenny Keesee, Owner of River City Co-Working, “It helps lessen the barrier to entry for starting a business as well.”
Keesee is excited by the amount of interest so far and is looking to expand in the future.
