Coworking Community Manager (Part time to Full Time Role)

3411 Coworking is friendly, fun, and professional coworking space in downtown Chamblee, Ga. We’re looking for a Community Assistant who would be interested in coming in Monday – Friday in the afternoons to help with marketing, connecting and taking care of coworking members, and maintaining the space to make sure it’s running smoothly. PLEASE NOTE: This position is part-time and will transition to full-time early next year.

This person should be able to multi-task, loves getting to know people. Our perfect candidate has some marketing experience, is comfortable with social media and customer service, has some experience in hospitality related industry, and loves being in an entrepreneurial environment.

Must be able to work the following schedule at the space to start.

Mon: 1PM – 5PM
Tues: 11:30AM – 5PM
Wed: 1PM – 5PM
Thurs: 1PM – 5PM
Fri: 2PM – 5PM

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
– Manage day to day coworking operations and community building:
– Get to know each member and help foster a community by helping them meet other members if they are new or just answering questions about the space
– Interact with potential members by giving them tours of the space, explain our membership levels, able to answer questions that pop up
– Sign up and on board new members for new members and process exits fo members leaving the space
– Help guests book and setup meetings in meeting rooms (visitors to the space)
– Help with hosting regular events for members (2-3 times a month – including happy hours, special celebrations, lunch and learns, guest speakers, etc)
– Bring our ‘hospitality mindset’ to life – make coffee, light cleaning as needed in between weekly cleanings, make sure common areas and meeting rooms are always clean and organized (we have a cleaning staff that will clean the space multiple times a week but want the rooms to look in order when not in use), and make sure plants are watered
– Respond to and resolve member issues with professionalism and patience
– Manage mail and distribute to members on an as needed basis
– Manage weekly lunch activities where we partner with local restaurants
– Communicate with our members via SLACK and Email for announcements and newsletters
– Management memberships to ensure accuracy and on-time payment
– Call vendors for building maintenance and repair as needed

Lead marketing activities:
– Create content (member events, member highlights, space news, etc) and messages and share via social media channels and website (no web development experience necessary)
– Research and implement additional local marketing tactics to help engage and education the community

Qualifications:
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Office, and Powerpoint)
– Proficiency in basic website maintenance and social media channels
– Familiarity with marketing tactics including search engine marketing, onling and local marketing
– Self-starter who has the ability to work independently and is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment
– Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
– Require College Degree – Preferred Degrees: Hospitality, Communications, Business, Marketing
– Prefer 2-3 Years of Professional Experience, preferably with some customer facing experience or within the hospitality industry

Hourly to start
