A Boston-based seed development and plant breeding company is expanding into the Purdue Research Park. Inari will open what it calls the world’s first Seed Foundry at the complex. Notre Dame to Dedicate New Hall of Architecture
The Matthew and Joyce Walsh Family Hall of Architecture will be dedicated on the Notre Dame University campus this week. The new home of the School of Architecture will be blessed during a ceremony at 3:30 p.m. Friday. The 100,000 square foot building includes the architecture library, hall of casts, a tower, large plaza, along with studios and research laboratory space.

AAA: Indiana Gas Prices Falling
AAA Hoosier Motor Club says gas prices in the state are the lowest they’ve been since April. The nonprofit is reporting regular unleaded gas is averaging $2.59 per gallon, a $.30 dip since last month. AAA says the price throughout the country has gone down over the last month to $2.75 on average. Last year at this time, prices in Indiana averaged around $2.75 per gallon. Elkhart-Goshen GDP Growth Among Nation’s Highest
Recently-released figures show the Elkhart-Goshen metropolitan area is one of the fastest-growing in terms of Gross Domestic Product in the country. The Bureau of Economic Analysis says the Elkhart-Goshen metro area notched a $15.5 billion annual GDP in 2016, compared to a 2015 figure of $14.4 billion.
