Europe is one of the largest business markets and Rotterdam is the largest port in the continent providing office space for many international companies in the city. Eventually, the city has a dynamic range of young and dynamic startups and businesses. After Amsterdam, Rotterdam is becoming a dynamic tech hub for tech startups and consequently, lots of co-working spaces are contributing to the work culture of the city.

Founded in 2016 by our dear friend Ohad Gilad, 42workspace is a community of entrepreneurs providing flexible membership options including private offices and hybrid desks. All the members get access to high-speed internet, lounge area, terrace and fully-equipped kitchen. However, to use the meeting rooms, gym, breakfast and admin services, the businesses pay an additional cost.
Started in 2016, the CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) Rotterdam is the first international location of CIC founded by Tim Rowe. It expands the existing community of investors, entrepreneurs and established businesses. The coworking space provides dedicated offices and flexible desks. It also offers the members with unlimited printing, copying and scanning, over 60 diverse events on a monthly basis and many other benefits. Further, CIC is a certified facilitator for the Startup Visa program.
#3 TSH Collab
The TSH Collab (The Student Hotel Group) was founded by Charlie MacGregor. He created the hybrid concept and opened TSH Collab in 2017 in Amsterdam. Further, they aim to expand rapidly across the key European markets in the coming years. The group has three investors – its founder Charlie MacGregor, APG and Aermont Capital LLP.
#4 The Rotterdam Collective
The Rotterdam Collective is a radically new business model meant for sustainable development. It has been operational since 2009 and hosts over 25 entrepreneurs and startups in a collective building. It provides room to startups focused on socially and environmentally innovative projects and members from all fields provided they adhere to the collective’s principles of sustainability and social responsibility. It is run and managed by all the members as a true collective.
The Tribes provides inspiring workplaces for businesses, startups and entrepreneurs. The concept was launched in 2015. Since then, they have been offering fully equipped and unique workspaces along with unlimited access to cafes, meeting rooms, gyms and more. All their locations provide thought-provoking office and meeting facilities for the startups. Also, the interior is designed uniquely and creatively and members can enjoy the benefits of freshly brewed coffee from Ethiopia.
Another popular co-working brand from the Netherlands, Spaces was founded in 2008 by Rattan Chadha, Martijn Roordink and Frederique Keuning. Spaces is growing rapidly spanning across several locations. It was formed with the intention to create a community of achievers, ‘Imagineers’ and thinkers. Further, they provide workspace for project teams, startups, entrepreneurs, well-established companies, business nomads and freelancers.
#7 HNK Rotterdam
This one provides ergonomically furnished workspaces and facilities such as fast Wi-Fi, admin services, 24/7 access, office supplies and equipment, onsite cafe and leisure activities. With its existence spread across multiple cities in the Netherlands, HNK coworking space offers flexible desks and managed offices.

Lastly, this coworking space was started as Startup Port and has its own perfect office space. In fact, it is one of the biggest coworking space in Rotterdam with a community of members who are aimed at constantly developing themselves in the emerging technologies and methodologies. Additionally, it also offers all facilities such as lounge sets, communal kitchen and more.
