Iconic London nightlife venue Ministry of Sound has crossed over into daylight hours with the new coworking space, aptly named the Ministry. Located within a revamped Victorian printworks hub, the new concept doubles as a dual social workspace and private members club.

Locally based Squire & Partners collaborated with Ministry of Sound on the design, which sought to honor the roots of the brand as well as the bold, raw elements of the historic structure. Original, exposed timber floors remain intact alongside untreated, textured walls and black-painted steelwork. The ground floor serves as a central social and work hub, complete with a lounge anchored by a 72-foot-long concrete and copper pipe bar. Attached is an urban garden courtyard endowed with an outdoor bar and firepit. Sundrenched workspaces span the first through fourth floors, which are linked via original terrazzo stairs, whose pale green and pink hues contrast the exposed concrete and steel of the stairwell.
